Sideline Occupation Policy (SOP 5)
As part of their preparations against compulsory retirement we advise salary workers to use their off-duty hours during active service profitably by engaging in sideline occupations(income generating activities). Projects like mango, coconut, citrus, cashew, pawpaw, pineapple, batik, snail, grasscutter, snail, fishfarm, piggery, bee keeping, poultry, cattle, sheep, fashion design, hairdressing etc. do supplement present salaries and provide full-time occupations after retirement. They kill boredom, inactivity and poverty. They will discourage taking up of menial salary work again after retirement . The SOP 5 itself provides sum of money at 5- year intervals for the expansion of sideline occupation; or as tangible springboards for your salary workers to empower themselves toward future financial success.

In the event of early death, even a month after buying the SOP 5, a trustee will be paid the whole sum insured for the upkeep of young children left behind.
