GHANA LIFE INSURANCE IS RE-LAUNCHED

GHANA LIFE, undoubtedly, one of the longest existing specialist life Insurance companies in the country  bounced back in style on Tuesday, June 9 with the commissioning of its new state-of –art offices in Accra by deputy Minister of Finance and Economic Planning, on behalf of H.E. John Evans Attah Mills, the President of the Republic of Ghana.

The event can aptly be described as the re-awakening of the insurance giant because Ghana Life, which was established in 1980, is being re-launched with the injection of fresh capital.

In the middle part of 2008, Ghana Life attracted a core investor in the person of Engr Cyril U.O. Ajagu, whose company, CONAU Limited, Nigeria, injected fresh capital into the Ghanaian company in order to strengthen its financial base and enhance expansion.

According to Mr. Ivan Avereyireh, Chief Executive Officer of Ghana Life, the company’s vision is to become a prominent Life Insurance company providing quality integrated financial services in the country and the West African sub-region by 2015.
